chrome://settings/passwords hangs/unresponsive

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.101 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. goto chrome://settings/passwords
2. see that no passwords shown / Search field unresponsive

What is the expected behavior?
Saved URLs + passwords should be listed. Search box should be functional

What went wrong?
No passwords shown. Can't type in the Search field. Chrome panic dialog about tab unresponsiveness, Wait/Kill options.

Did this work before? Yes A month ago

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.101  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I am also having this issue! Doesn't work on my account with many passwords. Does work on my wife's account with a few passwords

I have Version 53.0.2785.116 m (64-bit) and still have the problem
