Steps to reproduce the problem:
Operating system: Ubuntu 14.02. 
1. Try downloading chrome browser.
2. google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb is downloaded.
3. Try to install the package. 
4. Ubuntu complains as incompatible architecture.

What is the expected behavior?
Auto download of the package should be according to system architecture. Which is not amd.

What went wrong?
My system architecture is i686 not Amd architecture.
