"Hide in Chrome Menu" mistranslated in German

Reported by tobias...@gmail.com, Sep 10 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.101 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
In the German locale, "Hide in Chrome Menu" currently is "Im Chrome-Menü ausblenden", which means something like "Don't show in Chrome menu" which obviously is a mistranslation.

Correct would be "Im Chrome-Menü verstecken".

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 53.0.2785.101 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

Components: -UI UI>Localization
Honestly, this string is kinda confusing in English too.

Hi again,

According to our German language manager, we usually translate "hide" with "ausblenden" and "ausblenden" is actually very similar to verstecken, but less "coloured". "Ausblenden" is more neutral and fits well in this category.

Regards,
Geoff
Then it should say "In Chrome-Menü ausblenden" instead of "Im".

You don't have to use my suggestion. It's just that the current translation is a mistranslation.

New suggestion that doesn't use "verstecken":

"Ins Chrome-Menü verschieben".

The Chrome menu is the menu that shows up when you click the three dots. Therefore it's a mistranslation.

Reopened bug

email from sender:

The entry in the context menu for toolbar icons says "Im Chrome-Menü ausblenden" in German, and moves the icon to the chrome menu (the menu that comes up when you click the three dots on the top right of the browser). But "Im Chrome-Menü ausblenden" means the exact opposite: "Hide from Chrome menu", not "Hide in Chrome menu".

Correct would be "Von der Toolbar ausblenden" or "Ins Chrome-Menü verschieben".

This is fixed to "Ins Chrome-Menü verschieben"
