Issue descriptionfeatures: material design is horrible. I expected pleasant design for desktop environment, and what you presented is pure tablet UI ripoff. There is too much empty space, options and items enlarged for no reason. Typical example is Downloads page, there is probably 5 times less content on that page than it used to be. There is no need for that, we are not flicking fingers to scroll, we are using mouse not finger to select options we want. There is no need for just 6 items on a page at 1080p. Second thing is additional unnecessary click. Example: synced devices. Before it was Ctrl+H to open History page, synced devices and tabs open on them on the top, history at the bottom. Now it's Ctrl+H, click 3 little lines in the top left corner, click synced devices, and scroll into oblivion until you find device that you want. To conclude: This is terrible desktop UI, it breaks workflow, introduces additional clicks and scrolls and wasts precious screen real estate. |
