CSS URL-function with relative link as a value in CSS Custom Property

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2850.0 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://jsfiddle.net/Serator/4oLxaLse/ Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Set `url(../../../img/logo@2x.png)` as value of `--url` CSS-property. 2. Set `var(--url)` as value of `background-image` CSS-property. 3. What is the expected behavior? `background-image` as JSFiddle logo. What went wrong? `background-image` is broken (does not work). Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 55.0.2850.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 This work in Firefox Nightly 51.0a1 (2016-09-08) (64-bit). https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=465126 - META bug for CSS Custom Properties (CSS Variables).
