Does it run when you click on "Run all plugins this time"? I can't repro on Samus M55/8783.0.0/23.0.0.162, but it looks like you are prevented by corp policy from automatically playing Flash content. Notice this site has a working html5 fallback, so if Flash is properly disabled it still plays the video.

Thank you for spending time to repro the issue and look into this bug. Bug was raised based on Feedback request, https://feedback.corp.google.com/product/237/neutron?lView=rd&lReport=17009444646 I can still reproduce the issue (ie videos still dont play) even if I allow plugins from Omnibox or right click to play the video. Some other details Google Chrome 54.0.2840.13 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Revision 0 Platform 8743.11.0 (Official Build) dev-channel samus ARC 3246654 JavaScript V8 5.4.500.10 Flash 23.0.0.151 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8743.11.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.13 Safari/537.36 Can repro issue while connected to Google or my own network Plugin setting : Let me choose when to run plugin content. However, I can play video if I disable flash from chrome://plugins Given that we have a workaround, I can try to propose this solution to the user.

Not sure what the issue might have been on M53, sounds like we are having trouble reproing, but we've fixed the click to run issue that's present in M54+ (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=641028).
