Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Installed Kindergarten Math Home application on Chrome using playstore.
(2) When the application opens, accepted the privacy policy and logged-in using test gmail account. 
(3) Pressed maximize on the top bar.

Expected Result:
Should maximize and stay that way.

Actual Result:
App flickers out. Like its been killed. And then comes back in landscape, with the toast that the app may not work if resized.

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)
After a fresh app start only. If I press resize again, it resizes and works fine.

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
Minor impact. User has to press maximize again.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or
log if possible.
The app is defaulting all activities to landscape orientation. That may have something to do with it. I would prefer to default to maximized, but, there doesn't appear to be a setting for that on chrome.
