Issue descriptionChrome Version (from the about:version page): 53.0.2785.92 (Official Build) (64-bit) Is this the most recent version: as far as I know OS + version: Linux 4.7 on Gentoo CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64 Window manager: lxde URLs (if relevant): cirrusretro.com Behavior in Linux Firefox: does not use pulseaudio Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it): Unknown What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) start chrome (2) go to cirrusretro.com and play a song (3) use a task manager to catch pulseaudio being started What is the expected result? I can select ALSA instead of pulseaudio What happens instead? it always autodetects pulseaudio even when I hate it with a passion and only use it for programs that are hard-coded to use it. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. The choice should probably be placed in the advanced section of chrome://settings |
