Non-Regression : Ripple Effect of Checkbox is seen overlapped with Text in EULA Screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)In EULA screen Click on the Checkbox at optional and observe Ripple Effect is seen overlapped with Text (Please refer screenshot)

Expected: Ripple Effect of Checkbox should not be overlapped with Text 
Actual: Instead Ripple Effect of Checkbox  is seen overlapped 

This is Non-Regression issue. As Issue is seen with New material design OOBE. Hence assigning to @alemate.

@alemate: Please confirm the behavior.

Able to reproduce the issue on Peppy using dev # 55.0.2852.0/8780.0.0.
Issue is also seen when pressed tab and landed on this checkbox.

Proj-MaterialDesign-CrOS doesn't apply to the OOBE screens / sign-in flow.
