Nested tables aren't displayed on that page even though they're in the DOM

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.89 Safari/537.36 Example URL: www.answerdash.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to www.answerdash.com 2. Click the blue Q&A tab on the right 3. Click the "See all questions" link 4. Note that a modal appears in the middle of the page 5. The modal should have columns of text, but is empty 6. Inspect the modal's HTML and see that the text is there (in a table), but doesn't appear on the screen. What is the expected behavior? The modal should have columns of text What went wrong? Even though the nested table with the columns of text is in the inspected DOM, it doesn't appear on the screen. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes Any version of Chrome prior to 53; works on the current Chrome canary Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 53.0.2785.89 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: This has worked for a long time; no recent code changes; works in other browsers and previous versions of Chrome.
