Reported by klaus....@post.ch, Sep 7 2016

Issue description

Version of Google Chrome (Wrench-> About Google Chrome): 52.0.2743.116
Version of MSI (if applicable): 66.173.49268
Using group policy settings? Yes (cf. attached file).

When downloading http://dl.google.com/chrome/install/googlechromestandaloneenterprise.msi we get not the most recent version 53.0.2785.89 (as shown on https://omahaproxy.appspot.com/win) but the older version 52.0.2743.116 (66.173.49268). Updating with downloaded ChromeSetup.exe however installs the most recent version 53.0.2785.89.

Thanks for fixing.

We are experiencing the same thing. When we download the file it is still the old version and not the most recent version of 53.0.2785.89.

This has finally been resolved. The latest version 53.0.2785.101 has been released and is available on the Chrome for Work download site. The .msi file has been updated.

There was a 1 week gap between the first rollout of M53 and the MSI rollout due to a bug which affected rendering in some enterprise products. The rollout from this week should be reflected properly in the MSI.
