MD Settings: Browser back button no longer scrolls |
||
Issue descriptionVersion: 55.0.2853.0 To avoid conflicting with issue 644583 , make the browser window fairly short. 1. chrome://md-settings 2. Hamburger menu => Appearance 3. Hamburger menu => Search engine 4. Browser back button Expected: Scrolls back to previous section on navigating. Actual: URL changes to chrome://md-settings/appearance as expected, but the page doesn't scroll. tommycli: did we want to disable *all* scrolling on popState, or just scrolling from a subpage?

This is a strange case, and the non-scrolling is actually an intentional decision. While we do have URLs for sections, we only want to use them for jumping to a section when first opening the settings page. If this ends up being confusing to users, we'll revisit it. |
