Crash on iOS with using a new tab

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
2. Launch chrome with new tab (chrome://newtab) and navigate to google.com 
3. Navigate to badssl.com then click on "sha1-2016"
4. Triple tap to go back to chrome://newtab
5. Triple tap to go forward to sha1-2017.badssl.com
6. Crash!

What is the expected behavior?
No crash

What went wrong?
Crash

Crash log matches with Issue 635399.
This issue is actively being worked on and fixed soon.
Thanks for providing the steps to reproduce.
Checked on latest chrome version 53.0.2785.109 and chrome dev 54.0.2480.28 on iPhone with iOS 9.3.5 and iPhone 6s plus with iOS 10.0.1, following the steps mentioned in comment #0.  No crashes are observed.  Thanks for filing the issue.
