FWIW, on 8743.4.0 (Official Build) dev-channel link (54.0.2840.6), I get the right-click-to-play prompt but Flash always fails to load the content after the placeholder is dismissed ("movie not loaded" appears on a second right-click).

royans@ and waffles@, Can you update your system to 54.0.2840.13/8743.13.0? I tried this version on samus and it plays fine on flash sites(Hulu, Vudu,CNN,TED,Xfinity,ESPN and HBO GO). I also did not see right-click-to-play prompt pop up

please try to activate Flash for the page by clicking on the jigsaw in the top right corner of the URL bar and clicking "run all plugins this time" it's WAI that you can't add an exception in the content settings, and WAI that any exception you add has a strike through (to show it's not doing anything).

The jigsaw does not activate the plugin. In addition, this site and others (CNN/Spotify/etc) is added to the exception list within plugin exceptions, yet Flash is still blocked. Before I moved to dev channel yesterday, these sites were not blocked and the exception allowed the plugin without clicking the jigsaw.

Right-clicking on jigsaw in Chrome (not ChromoOS) hasn't worked for two weeks. I reported this as Issue 641028 .

Hi team, Any update here or ETA? I've been testing this on several sites and I'm unable to use any flash on my machine from any site and the exceptions in the plugin manager are not respected when loading the sites that have exceptions.

The issue is same as 645238. it looks like you are prevented by corp policy from automatically playing Flash.

Is there any update to this? I'm still unable to watch any flash video or interact with any website that uses flash - even when I select "run all plugins this time" Try watching CNN as an example: http://go.cnn.com/?stream=cnn&sr=watchHPbutton

justinmann@ Can you try to login with personal gmail account and see the issue is still reproducible? I use a testing gmail account to login and I can watch any flash site video.

Do you mean log in to chrome with a gmail? I've tried opening in a incognito window and get the same issue. If we use CNN as an example, I open the site (even though it's already been added to the exception list) - select to run all plugins this time - the site responds like it has attempted to load but fails.

Justin, can you confirm your current version of Chrome? (Probably it has updated since Sept 7th and it would be good to know which of the latest changes you have.)

Suspected fix is #412 on branch 2840, your build is at #29; can you update (go to chrome://chrome) and confirm whether this is still an issue for you?

It looks to be better - I will update here if I run into issues. Thanks!
