color distorted and captions appearing when they shouldn't

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.89 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. go to youtube and upload an mp4 video
2. play the uploaded video
3. can also try to upload to power editor in facebook from the new chrome version and will get same faulty video

What is the expected behavior?
the video color is distorted, picture is blurred and captions appear even when they are not turned on

What went wrong?
videos are so poor that I cannot use them, this is not happening on my chromebook (which has not been recently updated) or firefox browser

Did this work before? Yes before i updated to Version 53.0.2785.89 m

Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Issue similar to the  bug 615325 .Hence merging this into 615325.

This is not 615325. 615325 doesn't impact the color or caption. From the images, this issue looks like the UV plane is off.

Issue solved for me by disabling hardware acceleration at: chrome://flags/#disable-accelerated-video-decode

thompsoneducational@: Certain NV12 texture operations were blacklisted for AMD and NVidia GPUs, but too late for M53. Can you test with Chrome Canary and report if the issue is resolved? Thanks!
