Input search cross wrong rendered

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/51.0.2704.79 Chrome/51.0.2704.79 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Launch Chromium
2. Load http://codepen.io/Skayfer/pen/KgwOEy
3. Type something in first search input (yellow)
4. click below and unfocus
5. Make focus on second (grey) input and write something
6. Click below and unfocus
7. Make multi times hover on first input

What is the expected behavior?
When i unhover on input type search, cross should all disappear

What went wrong?
Cross not disappear completly. Still is some one or two pixels.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.79  Channel: stable
OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7,Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.11.6 using chrome version 53.0.2785.89 and canary 55.0.2852.0.Able to see the cross icon without any issues.Please find the attached screen cast for the same.

sky0.as@ Please confirm the issue specific to Ubuntu 16.04?
Also once please try the issue by upgrading chrome to latest stable and update the thread if the issue still persists.
