Content remains visible on external display after closing lid

Project Member Reported by michaelsafyan@google.com, Sep 6 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8350.68.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36
Platform: 8350.68.0 (Official Build) stable-channel samus

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Connect to an external display ("extend", don't mirror)
2. Open a Google Doc on the primary, internal display.
3. Close the laptop lid

What is the expected behavior?
As the laptop has been closed (and the profile locked), the external display should go completely black/blank immediately.

What went wrong?
The Google Doc which was showing on the internal display instead started showing on the secondary, extended display. And, to make matters worse, there was some delay before this happened (thus I walked away from the device, noticing this only after coming back to the computer). This is a major security/privacy issue for things to continue to be displayed when the laptop has been closed.

Did this work before? N/A

Closing the laptop with a display connected puts it into docked mode. This is intended behavior.
