Hey magjed@, your change in https://codereview.webrtc.org/2280703002 seems to have triggered an improvement in the "dropped_frames" metric on the nexus9 perf bot.

Would you mind checking that this improvement is expected? :)

It can't be that CL, it's unrelated to any frame dropping or performance logic. Also, it got reverted, so if it was the cause of the improvement, the revert CL would show up as a regression.

Probably due to https://codereview.webrtc.org/2272893002, which is the CL before.
