Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/51.0.2704.79 Chrome/51.0.2704.79 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. make bookmarks bar visible ("show bookmarks bar")
2. Add folder
3. Add couple of bookmarks in this folder
4. click on folder and try to drag n'drop any bookmark to another position or another folder. Menu closing right after mouse release.
What is the expected behavior?
when I drag n'drop item, the item should move on the new place and the menu should stay opened till I
- click item
- move mouse out of the menu scope
IMHO it is easy to do by determining whether it was a single click event, or "dragging" event.
What went wrong?
After releasing the left mouse button the bookmark menu closing, which is fine for a single act, but when you have several level of sub-folders and need to move several bookmarks into another sub-folder or just rearrange it that transforms this simple action to the real nightmare.
I'm doing this quite often and would admit that this is real disadvantage of Chromium that makes me unhappy and perturb my level of serotonin/dopamine balance :(
Did this work before? N/A
Chrome version: 51.0.2704.79 Channel: n/a
OS Version: LinuxMint 17.3 (64-bit)
Flash Version:
PS I realize that when could be easely done in the Bookmarks Manager. But
1. it is more complex action, to open BM just to move several bookmarks.
2. it is relatively the same complexity, when you have a lot of sub-folders.
But for huge bookmark rearangement it is better for sure.
Please make this little change. It will make simple bookmark rearrangement much easier.
NB. It would be great to have group combining (with Ctrl+left click) for bookmarks as well for this purpose.
