MD User Account Button: Regression - Dropdown Menu overlaps Hover button

Issue description

Version: Chrome 55.0.2848.0 canary (64-bit)
OS: OSX 10.11.6
MacBook Air 11" - NonRetina

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Click on the new MD User Account Button, so that the Dropdown menu appears

What is the expected output?
There should be 1px space between hover button and Dropdown menu.

What do you see instead?
The Dropdown menu is overlapping the Hover button.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
This is a regression after https://codereview.chromium.org/2286993002.

I think placement is correct. This mock shows the dropdown window pretty much in the same location:

unfortunately I have no accesss to the mocks. But on Mac there is mostly 1px space between button and menu. Overlapping looks like a bug to me.

Thanks shrike@. I was asking, because this issue was fixed last year with report https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=460475#c7.
No problem. We all appreciate your good eye for pixel imperfections!
