Lists are jittery in Gmail in Chrome Mac

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Click a message in Gmail
(2) Click the More dropdown

What is the expected output?
When mousing over the list the items should highlight but their text should not shift position.

What do you see instead?
The text for certain items in the list shifts slightly vertically up and down. See attached screen capture. This also happens in the Move To mailbox dropdown list.

Seems like a Blink-related issue so sending there for triage.

Reproduced with 53.0.2785.89 macOS 10.11 too.
