Webdriver test example. Opens google.com and focuses search input element and sends TAB key. On Chrome 52 focus moves to the search button below, in Chrome 53 a literal TAB character is inserted into the input element.

This seems to be fixed with the new ChromeDriver 2.24. http://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/2.24/notes.txt

Yes, that's correct. This issue has been fixed in Chromedriver v2.24 . Marking it duplicate to issue chromedriver:1484 |
