Creating new slides in Google Slides does not alwoys announce new slide number created

Issue description

Mode: force_next
Version: 55.0.2844.0
Reproduction Steps: 
1. slides.google.com
2. New Slide.
3. Tab to the title and type "test" and press escape..
4. Tab to subtitle and type "this is a test".
5. Press CTRL+M.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 two or three times.
Expected: The user receives feedback that a new slide has been created, and a user is told what number slide that is.
Actual: About every other slide, nothing eqcept "selected" is outputted.
