Search results marks in scrollbar missing

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8350.68.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to http://devarchy.com/react-components
2. Search for "star"

What is the expected behavior?
For every search result there should be a yellow mark in the scrollbar

What went wrong?
These yellow marks are missing

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116  Channel: stable
OS Version: 8350.68.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I can repro this bug (on Linux), but I don't think we have overlay scrollbars yet, and I'm not the one working on them anyway. It must be something site-specific?

vaguely similar to bug 506346, so assigning to yosin

I can confirm this issue.

-   As far as I know, this issue is not site-specific;
-   It seems to me to be definitely related to overlay scrollbars, as I just switched to overlay scrollbars and only then ran into this issue.

On some pages, e.g. <https://www.chromium.org/issue-tracking/autotriage>, it does seem to work, but the way it looks suggests it does not display the way it is meant to.
