Looks like this issue is not seen now. I just checked on the below chrome version and there is no download error seen. Can you please recheck now ? chromium 60.0.3098.0 (Developer Build) (64-bit) Revision ac1414588aedb11ae6a11223c7c3cca1057a4773-refs/heads/master@{#471207} OS Linux JavaScript V8 6.0.180 Flash (Disabled)

Sorry about the slow reply on my part here I very rarely check my email and thought this had been discarded due to being considered a duplicate. I'm on Version 63.0.3239.84 now. When I go to download the file I now get a popup (I'm not confident whethere this is new behaviour or not). This popup only seems to appear for downloading long filenames (My "Ask where to save each file before downloading" settings is set to off) If I hit save without adjusting the file name to shorten the length I still get the Failed - Download error message. Seems if you could just give a more specific error message here it would be enough to at least work around the problem a bit easier. |
