SSL interstitials go past the viewport at 800x420 on desktop. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome 54.0.2840.6 OSX 10.11.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Resize the viewport to 800px by 420px (2) Visit expired.badssl.com What is the expected output? You can see the entire interstitial page. What do you see instead? ADVANCED and the call to action are not visible. If you're note using an external mouse, there is not even a scroolbar to indicate that anything is missing (see screenshot).

lgarron: I get a scrollbar on my Mac. What do you have set for your OS-level scrollbar preferences? Wondering if we have something set differently.

I also usually have a scrollbar. Note: > If you're note using an external mouse, there is not even a scroolbar to indicate that anything is missing (see screenshot). The scrollbar should go away for you if you unplug your computer and browse using just the trackpad.

If I tweak the breakpoint threshold it will still result in other window sizes having cut off content without a scrollbar. That's unfortunately OSX for you with that auto scrollbar setting and our layout. Granted 800 x 420 should be more common than something smaller.

This is now fixed due to the recent changes for WebView safe browsing. At 560px height the page uses the mobile layout with the action buttons anchored so they are always visible. We also made the top margin be proportional to make better use of the space.
