Sourcemaps are slow

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open an application that have huge sourcemap files like http://editor.swagger.io
2. Open devtools
3. Try Cmd+P to open the files

What is the expected behavior?
Files open fast

What went wrong?
There is a considerable lag. 

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116  Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I am using a Macbook Pro so the hardware is not really slow

Eugene, I think your current work on source maps will solve this, won't it?
Looks like these problems are not (only?) source maps related, I confirmed that the pending fix does not entirely remove this issue. I will look into it.

I did not do anything but it seems fast to me. Please let me know if there's still a need to investigate.
