Pressing backspace no longer goes to the previous page | SHIFT+Backpsace no longer goes forward

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Press Backspace
2. It no work
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
Page should go forward/backwards on press of Backspace/SHIFT+Backspace

What went wrong?
Google Developers got high.

Did this work before? Yes a couple weeks ago

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.3
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Thanks for the report, please use "Alt+left arrow" to navigate back to previous page and "Alt+right arrow" to navigate forward.
By these combination of keys its working fine on Latest stable 53.0.2785.89.
