Confirmed. Probably related to issue 613208 . Marking as a regression, because this worked before MD.
Hmm, it works for me in 55.0.2845.0.

Hey shrike@: Yes it works when I do the right-click via CTRL+Left_Click. But please try it again with a two-finger-click on the Trackpad as a right click, then it doesn't work. (You have to activate it in the OS Trackpad settings first.)

Here is a video.

Thanks!

I see. I'm not sure how to detect a right click from a two-finger click gesture.

Thanks for confirming it. It is also not working when you do the right-click via a connected (Magic) Mouse.
What are your exact steps there? It works for me on my desktop with a Control-Click and two-finger click gesture on the Magic Mouse.

I am using a MacBook Air 11" (2012)

---

Steps to reproduce with the Trackpad:

1.) Enable in the OS Trackpad settings the two-finger click as a right click
2.) Do a two-finger click on a bookmark or folder on the Bookmarks Bar

Result: The context menu opens, but the hover highlight effect of the bookmark/folder disappears

---

Steps to reproduce with the Magic Mouse 1:

1.) Enable in the OS Mouse settings the right-finger click possibility
2.) Do a right-finger click on a bookmark or folder on the Bookmarks Bar

Result: The context menu opens, but the hover highlight effect of the bookmark/folder disappears
