What went wrong? it won't define browser default for googlechrome . it ask do you want googlechrome default browser i click yes and it does not work why Did this work before? Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows-7 using chrome previous stable M52-52.0.2743.116 and latest stable M53-53.0.2785.89 by following steps mentioned below. 1. Navigated to chrome://settings 2. Marked chrome as default browser 3. Switched to terminal 4. Typed start www.google.com 5. Observed the page opened in default chrome browser as expected. Reporter@ - Attaching screen-cast for reference, Could you please confirm is this is the issue you are talking about? If no, please provide detailed repro steps to check this issue from Chrome-TE end. Thanks!

Are you able to set Chrome as your default browser via Windows in the Control Panel?

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7 using chrome version 53.0.2785.89.able set chrome as default browser from chrome://settings and control panel as well. Please find the attached screen cast for the same. Could you please try the issue by using the latest chrome stable version and update the thread if the issue still persists. Thanks,
