This happens to me, on Windows 8.1 and Version 53.0.2785.116 m. It happens when I open Chrome on my 1920x1080 monitor and move it to my 1280x1024 monitor. If I move it in the other direction, the user icon stays farther away from minimize than normal.

We should be able to remove it. It interferes with my minimize button as well using windows 7 with Alien-ware theme even at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

I, too, experience this issue. I have version 53.0.2785.143 m running on Windows 10 Pro, version 1511, OS Build 10586.589 with 1600 x 900 resolution on my laptop display. I have noticed that as I change my resolution, similar to Ben in Comment 4, my profile name becomes more or less in conflict with the minimize button.

This is why I stopped using Chrome. I Comodo Dragon which is built on a previous chromium interface.
