OS: Mac (10.10.5, 10.11.5)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome, open NTP, right click on bookmarks bar and add a new folder.
2. Click on bookmark icon and save a bookmark into the ‘new folder’ created in step 1.
3. Press Tab key to move the focus highlight on ’new folder’ at bookmarks bar.
4. Now place the mouse cursor on ‘Apps’ shortcut and press Space bar from keyboard, observe.

Actual : New folder does not open on pressing Space bar key for first instance.
Expected : New folder should open on pressing Space bar key at first instance.

This is a non-regression issue seen from M-30 (build 30.0.1549.0)

Note : This is Mac specific issue and the same is working fine on Windows & Linux OS.
