2. inbox.google.com
3. Open message > tab to buttons, links, aria-pressed/expanded controls
4. Note: only label/text is shown in Braille

Looks like roles are shown, but perhaps not states.

Roles are a recent addition, as I don't recall seeing them when I filed this bug. States are still missing.

This isn't true. It might help if you gave a specific example. If you toggle a button, you will see a full cell. Expanded and collapsed buttons / controls receive a +/-.
