While trying to log into chrome after a fresh install, it crashes every time I press the log into chrome button.

Reported by ashp.pan...@gmail.com, Aug 28 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install a fresh copy of windows 10 64bit.
2. Download and install Google chrome 64 bit.
3. Try to sign in into chrome by pressing the "sign into chrome" button on top beside the minimise button.

What is the expected behavior?
It should give me a popup for entering my gmail id and password.

What went wrong?
As soon as I press the "Sign into chrome" button the browser crashes/closes. On restarting the browser again it recognizes the crash and gives the option to restore the pages that were open at that time.

Crashed report ID: No

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? Yes In the older chrome that I used before reinstalling windows.

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Unable to reproduce the crash on win10 chrome version 52.0.2743.116 on pressing the "sign into chrome" button on top beside the minimise button.

Could you please try the same with new profile and if crash still exists provide us the crash ID for further investigation.
I tried it again. The issue exists although I am not able to get a crash ID. The page chrome://crashes does not show any crashes. So, I've attatched a video of the same.

I managed to get it to work by installing chrome 44, logging into it and then updating it to chrome 52. It was not an issue on chrome 52 which was updated from 44.

Oh and if it helps I did a clean install of Windows 10 enterprise, version 1607 (OS version 14393.0).
