Reproduction Steps: 
1. Enable Chromevox Next
2. inbox.google.com
3. j to move to first message.
4. X to select.
5. J to move to second message.
6. X to select.
Expected: Inbox would say "two selected" as it used to.
Actual: Chromevox says checkbox checked, two messages selected... this is too verbose. Either announce checkbox state, or message selection state please.
