Still reproducible, unfortunately. It is always sporadic, so there is no clear steps to reproduce, but it definitely still happens. It also happens with the unpacked-extensions-are-installed message. I guess anything that uses transparency is prone to this.

One perhaps irrelevant thing to note is that I saw a similar issue in Firefox as well, so perhaps this is an operating system level issue.
