Switch to stable or beta version from dev version.

Reported by mhmd...@gmail.com, Aug 26 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2837.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. I have the dev version on my system
2. I try installing the stable/beta version.

What is the expected behavior?
Should be able to switch betwen the three versions of chrome

What went wrong?
Says you have a more recent version of chrome.

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 54.0.2837.0 Channel: dev
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I also have the canary version.

I see that is how it works, and need to uninstall the new version whichever channel it is and then install the stable. Would be great if there it can be made possible to switch easily rather than doing it in a round about manner.
