What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to go/triage-backlog. See the long query in the search text input
2. Click in the middle of the text input, and hold down while dragging all the way to the right. Keep going until it scrolls all the way right to the end of the input
3. Now click in the middle of the selection.

What is the expected result?

Selection is de-selected, cursor moves to where I clicked


What happens instead of that?

Nothing. The input box seems to be in some sort of broken state with regard to selection.
