no dump created. No chrome://crashes exist I can procdump or windbg it I guess?

I have a dump created using windbg .dump /mfh /u C:\crash.dmp

if that works.
This reproduces on multiple sites.
Removed some addins/extensions in Chrome I wasn't using. Rebuild system from scratch. Same repro.

If you configure Source & Symbols, as outlined in https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/debugging-on-windows/windbg-help , can you include a full backtrace of the crashing thread when you have WinDBG attached?

And can you confirm that there's nothing on chrome://crashes , even after restarting?
Hello. This turns out to be a null dereference bug in windows.ui.cred.dll. I followed up with Microsoft internal (I am an employee). The fix is to be published soon external I believe.

The repro turns out is to use a smart card, then try to hit a SSL site that requires one, with the smart card not plugged in. Clicking OK to use the not-present smart card then generates a 100% repro of Chrome or IE crash (Edge seems more stalwart and merely freezes).

I think we can close this out? I'm new to this system not sure how to do so.
Also I confirm, even with restarting chrome, I never had a record in chrome://crashes

I'm guessing you may have an Enterprise Policy that prevents reporting crashes :)

Going and marking it as WontFix.
