Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open any web page with vertical scroll bar. 2. Scroll down. 3. Remember the element (word of text, row of table, image), located at top of window's visible area (say, element X). 3. Change zoom level or change size of window. Result: browser will change parameters of scroll bars. What is the expected behavior? After rezoom or resize the vertical position of element X must not be changed (element X must be located at top of visible area). What went wrong? After rezoom or resize the element X become unvisible (vertical position of element X relative of top of visible area is changed, and element X located above or below of visible area). Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version: Use case: * user read web page and scroll it content vertically; * user rezoom page or resize window; * current behaviour: readed text become unvisible; user need change vertical scroll bar position to search already readed text and continue reading; * expected behaviuor: continue reading (without scrolling).

You'll likely be interested in the scroll anchoring work that's in progress. There's already plans to address this issue. |
