Issue descriptionVersion: 54.0.2839.0 911ba12253b14bfe874a321c57031f5ac534ce31-refs/heads/master@{#414243} (64-bit) OS: Mac OS X(10.11.4,10.11.5,10.10.5) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings/ 2. Now click on profile icon and observe above it Actual: Unwanted glimpse of profile icon and person name is seen at the top portion after clicking on it Expected: Unwanted glimpse of profile icon and person name should not be seen at the top portion after clicking on it This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 54’ and below is manual regression and narrow bisect info: Good build : 54.0.2838.0 Bad build : 54.0.2839.0 Narrow Bisect info : https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/faeff7501726c2c232eecdbf93c4e5079126fa54..5b836eb96a445e7ec886b7acac2bf3f87eefc56b?pretty=fuller&n=1000 Suspecting: r414111 from Narrow bisect @dschuyler : Could you please help to reassign if your change is not the cause for this change. Michael, I'm guessing this has something to do with a fade transition between the section and subpage. Could that be made faster or have a different (sharper) curve at the end so there is less ghosting from the prior UI?

I've already fixed the main issue here (the upward jump shown in the video). The fade transition should be a bit faster, but that requires a bunch of neon-animation overloading we'll have to do at some point.

This bug is tagged as regression.Which means that the bisects are incorrect or do not have an owner who is actively investigating. Requesting the reporter to triage and update the behavior in all the latest chrome channels and bisect if needed.Close as WontFix if not reproducible.
