Pressing BackSpace key is easy than pressing Alt+Down

Reported by berkut.u...@gmail.com, Aug 26 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Open any web page and press BackSpace key.

What is the expected behavior?
BackSpace key used to go to previous page in Internet Explorer many years and habitually for us (users).

What went wrong?
In current version BackSpace key does not work - this is regression for us.

Did this work before? Yes BackSpace key does not work in current version, but work in previous versions.

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable
OS Version:
Flash Version:

Implementing of BackSpace key it is not compatibility issue, it is default (must have) behaviour.
Moreover, pressing one key (BackSpace key) is easy than pressing combination of keys (Alt+Down).

Why the hell should majority of users being again punished for misbehave of minority?
If anyone not able to realize he is in a form field and trying to go back with backspace (thus deleting what he typed before in that form), HE should get a message that BACKSPACE in a form is going to delete content (may be some ctrl+z with undelete of whole deleted form content would be better than getting rid of going back feature).
left ALT + left arrow is the only functional key combination but requires TWO HANDS!!!! or at least TWO fingers for LONG finger-type people (lol), why getting rid of a feature that requires ONE hand/finger to go back?
This has been a function for AGES in every browser? :-o ... crist hour!!!!

The only correct solution would be to ask user if he really wants to leave page when there were some data entered in the form and then backspace is pressed.
