Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8737.1.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2837.0 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8737.1.0 (Official Build) dev-channel swanky Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Turn your Chromebook on from a full shutoff. It's the first thing you will see. What is the expected behavior? The use of the updated Chrome logo, or Google logo should be used instead of the old Chrome logo. What is currently used: https://www.google.com/search?q=Google+Chrome+Logo&rlz=1CATAAB_enUS707US707&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=942&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwji1N2ghN7OAhXMPBQKHXOrCQYQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=eqwyx768J7nQbM%3A What should be used: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/logopedia/images/9/96/Zzc.png/revision/latest?cb=20151017150635 What went wrong? The logo on the ChromeOS Boot reflects an old and dated Chrome logo. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 54.0.2837.0 Channel: dev OS Version: 8737.1.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 It would be also greatly appreciated by many if the background color on the boot was black instead of white, as in the middle of the night, or in dark environments it is quite blinding to the eye.

Yep progress being made, I'll dupe this into the tracking bug. |
