Issue descriptionMode: force_next Version: 54.0.2837.0 Reproduction Steps: 1. Navigate to docs.google.com and create a new document. 2. Make sure that CVox Next is enabled. 3. Type the line "I lkie the Google!!!!!" 4. Tools>>spellcheck... Expected: the misspelled word is announced, and a correction is suggested and vocalized... at the very least, the misspelled word is vocalized. Actual: Lots of babble that culminates in the misspelled word being announced... sometimes... if a user listens that far. A user can navigate the window with CVox review commands, however if a user moves too far in a direction, they are brought out of spellcheck and back to the document... potentially causing confusion to the user.

Using search+arrows in the spell-checker window is super confusing and disorienting. It's not clear what the mispelling, suggestion is, or how to return to spell-checker when entering other non-spell checker controls.

Docs is now whitelisted for classic so this will be using the classic engine. This particular case behaves better in classic though contextual reading of misspellings is again, a Docs specific detail without invasive action on ChromeVox's part. That could be considered at some point if needed but out of scope for phase3/4. |
