createChildFrame takes 14ms, which is 10ms in RenderFrameImpl::didCommitProvisionalLoad

There don't appear to be any trace points under this method, but it takes a very long time on a 5X.

Thanks for the report. didCommitProvisionalLoad is a huge method which also delegates to all RVO and RFOs. Let's see if we can drill down on what's slow here.

Do you have a URL that repros? Is this only slow on 5x?

This is slow on all devices, the 5X just makes it very clear. I'd just try it on any website that loads a bunch of ads. :)
