Crap WebView font looks pale and thin and not the same as in browser on PC.

Reported by rista...@gmail.com, Aug 25 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.106 Safari/537.36 ASW/1.51.2220.53

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Make a HTML page
2. Show it on Android WebView
3. Compare it to the display on any browser on PC.

What is the expected behavior?
Display HTML on WebView NORMALLY, like how it would on the PC, browser, and whatever.

What went wrong?
Nothing went wrong on my side. WebView just stopped displaying properly.

Refer to the bug here https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=219794

Did this work before? Yes Some time ago, can't remember when.

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 6.3
Flash Version:

Do fix it ASAP. The whole WebView looks like utter crap and is totally unusable now.

It has been 15 days since the report and nothing's done?!

I would love to update the Chrome's Android browser (currently 52.0.2743.98), HOWEVER, when I view Chrome Browser in Google Play, there are no updates, and it says that my version is the latest one.

2 days later - where is the Chrome update? It's not even in the Play Store!

Is the Chromium team aware that I'm talking about Chrome on Android, and am using the PC to send this issue?

It has been almost a month, AND the WebView still looks crappy, AND Chrome on Android still does not have an update.

As for the HTML file, just type <html><body>Hello world</body></html>, and put it in a WebView.
