Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.85 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: Click on a link to an HTML document. What is the expected behavior? The document is displayed. What went wrong? The document is sometimes downloaded. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.85 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 This happens rarely but at least once per week. Therefore I cannot say/test if this is related to my plugins/extensions. When the URL ends in "/" the file is named "download (N).html". Otherwise if it ends in "/name" the file is named "name.html". Usually clicking on the same link again will display the destination correctly. Sometimes it will download the destination again. I cannot say if it has ever happened thrice in a row. This has happens on various websites such as - reddit.com - github.org - spiegel.de - google.de This has been happening for a long time.

ju.orth@ this sounds like it is an extension doing this. Are you able to run without extensions and see if it reproduces?

Closing issue due to lack of feedback. This is not reproducible and appears to be related to an extension. If the issue still exists please provide the desired feedback. |
