repaint

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. visit page
2. mouse out of viewport
3. will trigger fixed div to appear, sometimes with no text or div css styles but images appear with transform:translateZ(0)

What is the expected behavior?
Text and CSS(like boarder top) should show

What went wrong?
Text and CSS is not being painted but render cycle is happening, layout borders correctly show where the text should be but doesnt appear. Also when mouseover text the cursor will change even though the text is not painted.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? Yes before chrome 58

Does this work in other browsers? Yes 

Chrome version: 54.0.2837.0  Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.3

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7, Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.11.6 using chrome version 54.0.2838.0 with the below steps

1.Go to URL http://triblio.com/test-overlays-dev/
2.Not seen any image which is mentioned in attachment

Please find the attached screen cast and confirm anything missed here.
Request you please try the issue on latest version and update the thread if the issue still persists.

Sorry had to change some configurations and accidentally changed how that popup was being deployed from our server. I have changed the configuration back and updated my Chrome to 54.0.2837.0 dev. The problem still persists.

If you visit the page now and mouse out you will see the popup trigger, every so often it will show the repaint issue i described.

You may have to try 20 times until seeing it, I am seeing it every 4-5 times I reload the page but over the course of the past three days this number has fluctuated. The best way I found is to have multiple browser windows open at the same time.
