It is possible that after pushing the "Check for update" button on the page to trigger an ondemand update for a component, the status for that component remains stuck on "Status - Checking for status…".

For example, assume that an update check including a component is in progress. When the ondemand call for a component is handled by the UpdateClient, the component is seen as "IsUpdating". Therefore, the engine returns Error::ERROR_UPDATE_IN_PROGRESS. However, the page does not handle this, and since no future events or callbacks are delivered for this component update, its status is not changed.
