@rous, For our web app we don't need this feature. I want to control the popup through html attribute, to enable for that particular field. Is there any html attribute to take over, I am not aware of?

There's no html attribute to control this feature. May I ask why you don't feel your users need this feature? I don't see harm in allowing users to use OCR to quickly input a card from their phone camera.

Its nice cool feature, for some reason business want to disable it.

I think as of right now, we don't have plans to allow developers to disable it. We view this as a user-assistive feature with minimal downsides. Given that, I'm going to mark this as WAI. But if there are compelling use cases we're not considering, please feel free to bring up and we can consider re-opening. |
